<p><b>What are the list of documents that the customer has to provide?</b></p>
<p>The list of documents which the customer has to provide are:</p>

<p><b>Are there any additional amount or charges that the customer have to pay at bank other than the payment amount?</b></p>
<p>The customers have to pay education tax (currently 3%) as per governments regulations along with the payment amount at the bank. Apart from this, no other additional charges shall be taken from the customers.</p>
<p>Education tax cannot be sent by using digital transfer (IPS/ RTGS) but have to be paid at branch.</p>
<p><b>Do customers need to have an account at NMB Bank to process for Flywire Payment?</b></p>
<p>No, it is not mandatory to have an account at NMB bank to process for Flywire payment, however, the customer have to fill up an additional KYC document and provide identification (Citizenship, Passport) at the bank.</p>
<p><b>When will the payment amount be sent to Flywire?</b></p>
<ul class="cont-list">
  <li>If customers visit the branch, provide all the documents, deposits the amount and completes the process within 2:00 PM from Monday to Thursday and 1:00PM on Friday, such payments shall be sent on the same day.</li>
  <li>Other requests on working days received after the cut off time mentioned above shall be processed on the next working day to Flywire.</li>
  <li>No transaction shall be done on holidays but customers can still send money to Flywire’s NPR account through RTGS or IPS.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>When will the amount be sent to the University?</b></p>
<p>The process of final settlement to the university shall be done by Flywire itself and it takes them a maximum of 72 hours (maximum filter) to update the dashboard after payment is made. Customers can also find the information regarding the settlement time in the Payment Instruction Letter.</p>
<p><b>How will the customer receive the information regarding successful payment?</b></p>
<p>After the payment is successfully transferred to the university, Flywire shall send the confirmation email in the customer’s registered email address (entered during the payment booking creation process). The customer can also generate the payment receipt through the payment tracker provided by Flywire – link to the tracker shall be sent in the email of the customer by Flywire after payment booking is done.</p>

<h3>QR Merchant Payment</h3>
<p>NMB QR code payment is a contactless payment method wherein payment is performed by scanning a QR code from a mobile app. This is an alternative payment method using electronic funds transfer at the Point of Sale. QR payment removes the need of traditional payment methods such as VISA Cards, POS machines or cash.</p>
<h3>QR payment Advantage to your Business</h3>
<p>NMB Bank offers your business to accept QR code payment from Fonepay from mobile banking customers in Nepal. The QR code based payment which is under Fonepay network is accepted by most merchants across Nepal. The customer will simply scan the QR code via mobile device and make payments instantly. The payments made through QR code will be directly transferred to the merchant’s Bank account in real time.</p>

It saves time as the payment gets directly transferred to the bank account. All the payment details and statements can be viewed online via web or mobile app.</p><h3>NMB Fonepay QR</h3><p>NMB Fonepay QR now supports cross-border QR payments from Indian nationals through UPI-enabled mobile applications such as Phonepay and BHIM. Merchants can utilize their existing QR codes to accept payments from Indian customers.</p><p>For transactions made by Indian nationals using the NMB merchant QR, a Merchant Discount Rate (MDR) of 1.95% will be applied.</p><p>Furthermore, enrolled FonePay QR merchants will be able to accept cross-border payments from Indian nationals, except for specific categories such as petrol pumps, jewelry shops, NGOs/INGOs, and government agencies.</p><p>Merchants who prefer not to accept payments from Indian customers via the Fonepay Merchant App and Merchant web portal can opt out of this feature.</p>
<p>To activate and use NMB Bank Merchant QR Code Upon successful registration in Fonepay, Merchant will receive SMS with Username and Password in their mobile number. Download Fonepay Merchant App from Google Play Store or App Store. Login with provided Username and Password. On every payment, both Merchant and Customer will receive an SMS notification from Fonepay. Merchant can view all transaction details in their Fonepay Merchant App and bank statement. <p>Register for NMB 3D Secure</p><p><b>3D secure online transaction</b></p><p>We are proud to introduce 3D secure services for our Bank’s Debit/Credit Cardholders to perform online transactions. This service allows registered card holders to use their cards for online transactions and allows them to participate in Verified by Visa for performing secured online transactions. The implementation of this secured service provided is an extended commitment to our consumers to meet the needs of an ever-changing market in terms of security, technology, and financial solutions. The 3D secure service helps to authenticate not only the card but also the cardholder by validating the OTP thus protecting card holder’s online transactions against theft and illegal use of the cards.<br></p><p><b>Information for registration</b><br></p><p>Dear Customer, Please fill the ecommerce application form and submit at the nearest branch to activate the service.
