NMB Bank successfully completed its 11th Heritage Walk, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. The 11th Heritage Walk program was inaugurated at Balkhu Branch and ended at Uma Maheshwar Temple located at Kirtipur.

The Bank, in collaboration with Nepal Heritage Society, organized the event where approximately 750 individuals participated from various institutions, including Deputy Mayor of Kirtipur Municipality, Ms. Subha Laxmi Shakya (Sunita), Chairman of NMB Bank, Mr. Manoj Kumar Goyal, Directors Mr. Jeevan Kumar Katwal, Mr. Uttam Bhlon, Mr. Harishchandra Subedi, Mr. Sirish Kumar Murarka, CEO of NMB Bank, Mr. Sunil K.C., representatives of Kirtipur Municipality, members of Nepal Heritage Society and employees of NMB Bank. Mr. Shailendra Man Bajracharya, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Cooperatives for Bagmati Province attended the event as the chief guest. During the event, as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Bank supported Nepal Heritage Society with NPR. 500,000 for heritage conservation efforts and also handed-over dustbins to the Kirtipur Municipality.

Similar programs were organized in all provinces of the country. In Koshi Province, the walk started from Itahari chowk and ended at Ramdhuni Temple. In Madhesh Province, walk started from Janakpur Branch and concluded at Ram Janaki Temple. In Chitwan, the event started from Bharatpur branch and ended in Ganesh Dham, in Gandaki Province, the walk started from zero-kilometer branch and ended at Tal Barahi temple. Similarly, in Lumbini Province, the walk began from Gol Park and ended in Siddhababa Temple, and in Karnali and Sudurpashchim Province, the walk began from Surkhet Branch to Kakrebihar Temple, Mahendranagar Branch to Siddhanath Temple and Dhangadhi Branch to Krishna temple.

‘The Banker Magazine’ of The Financial Times, London, has awarded NMB Bank with Bank of the Year Asia award 2021. The bank has also been awarded with Bank of the Year in 2017, 2018, 2020 & 2021. NMB Bank is currently providing its services through 201 branches, 186 ATMs and 11 extension counters.
